The North Yorkshire Moors Railway

As a follow up to yesterday's photographs of Bob Symes' steam days, I thought I would post some shots of the nostalgia trip that is the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. It's run by volunteers, and you can really see the love put into it.

View from a carriage.

A certain book on rail safety by Roald Dahl comes to mind.

Fireman?

Conductor?

Senior Ticket Inspector! (You can tell by the Cool Hand Luke shades.)

All aboard.

Through the moorland.
