Nymans House

Nymans house. A fascinating mixture of architecture, internally and externally. It's also (along with Castle Drogo) one of the few National Trust properties I really would like to live in myself: the interior is classic, traditional, yet with a very contemporary feel. A beautiful mixture of stone, wood, bare walls and elegant furnishings.

Many thanks to the staff for looking after my motorcycle gear. Very helpful!

The current house is built within the shell of a previous building.

The main hallway.

The living room.

I like the lighting.

G&T?

While writing a letter.

This painting of the gardens was done when one of the owners of the property was just a teenager.
