New bells arrive at St Mary's church

The new bells arrived yesterday at St Mary’s church in Richmond, fresh from Taylor’s foundry in Loughborough. Gleaming bronze, with graphite staining the hands of those who dragged them up the hill into the church. Mark Dundas helped push his family’s bell up into the church – the Marquess of Zetland was a major sponsor of the project. Also on hand was Lottie the golden retriever, project mascot.
