I like Andreas Gursky's photographs. I saw an exhibition of them in Istanbul, and found it fascinating to see a photograph of a skyscraper at night, photographed from top to bottom in such detail that you could see what individual workers were doing.

However, I can't say I particularly like his "Rhine II" photograph, which to me is totally lacking in any artistic merit whatsoever, and that's not getting onto the issue of him retouching the photo to remove walkers and a factory..

Anyway, at the weekend I took some photographs which I think qualify in the boredom stakes:

Face to face

This little orange moth was lying on the window sill when I woke up this morning, sadly dead.

Birds of prey

At the weekend I had the great opportunity to get up close with some beautiful birds of prey:

Marshall, the owl.

Disney, the contrary owl.

Marshall and myself.

For Christmas presents, head over to ebay

Looking for a good Christmas present?

I have listed a few mounted prints for sale, at my ebay shop. They are listed at a slightly cheaper price to the ones on my website: a 12x8 mounted print only costs £15. What are you waiting for?

So if you like the photo below, why don't you go and buy a copy?

Occupy London

Occupy London (or, Occupy London Stock Exchange):

A curious onlooker.

The tents (none of which are in any way blocking the steps of St Pauls, by the way).

Artist in residence.

A discussion.

Okay, not Occupy London. But, another shot from the day.

Autumn Colours

I was out today enjoying the autumn colours:

I often find strange items in the forest, and today's find was a car wing mirror. This let me take some interesting shots:
